Home is the manufacturing dashboard everyone lands on after choosing a plant. Company news runs across the top, every app your plant has installed has a live tile in the middle, and the band at the foot shows the latest floor activity and who is signed in.
News at the top
The newest published post for the site leads, with earlier posts in an archive beside it, so a welcome or a rota change is the first thing people read.
A tile for every installed app
Each app your plant has installed shows one live figure from its own records, such as stations running or first-pass yield today. Selecting a tile opens the app.
The floor at the foot
The ten latest floor events, the workstations and whiteboards people have open, and everyone active at the site in the last five minutes.

Each tile is a small shop floor dashboard for its app: who is out, which stock is below minimum, which audits are outstanding and which stations have stopped. Most tiles follow their records as they change, and OEE, first-pass yield and steps completed refresh at least every five minutes.

The People tile lists today’s absences with the reason and the day each person is back.
What needs attention
Inventory shows the stock below minimum, Audits what is still outstanding, and Digital Twin the stations that are down or paused.
Where people are working
The Hub tile counts everyone online and the workstations, whiteboards and records they have open.
Locked, not hidden
If you cannot open an app, its tile says No access and loads none of its data. Tiles appear only for the apps your plant has installed.
Plant news on the screen everyone opens.
Company news is written in People and leads Home at the site it was posted for, so a welcome, a safety result or a rota change is the first thing people see after they sign in. It reaches the people without a screen too, as a printed sheet.

A headline, the body, an agenda list and tags. Posts belong to the site they were written at, and Publish puts them live straight away.

A production dashboard of your own.
The Dashboard is a production dashboard each person keeps for their site: quality against target, on-time delivery, output, open work by customer, and the audits and tasks coming up. Two people at the same plant can keep completely different boards.

No save button
Each change is saved a moment after you make it. Editing needs a tablet or desktop screen; on a phone the widgets stack in one column.

A customisable dashboard still needs a sensible start. Bulk shows your own layout for the site once you have changed anything, and the site’s default until then, which begins as a 21-widget starter board. Managers can save a page as a layout anyone in the organisation can add.

Your arrangement is kept for you at each site, so switching plant brings up that plant’s board.
Nobody starts blank
Each new site starts with a 21-widget board: quality, delivery, open work, consumables, output, a clock, upcoming audits and tasks.
Layouts to share
Save Current Page stores a page in the Layout Marketplace with its widget count, author and site. It needs Manage dashboard templates, which the Entity admin and Manager roles hold.
Adds, never overwrites
Use Layout adds the layout as a new page. Archiving a layout takes it out of the marketplace and leaves existing dashboards as they are.
Install an app, and its tile appears.
Bulk is one system installed one app at a time. The Hub and Files come with every workspace; an administrator installs the rest from Apps, any app they depend on is installed with them, and Home gains a tile for each.

What is a manufacturing dashboard?
A manufacturing dashboard puts a plant’s current figures on one screen: what is running, quality and delivery against target, open work, stock and who is on site. In Bulk that is Home, which everyone lands on, and the Dashboard each person builds from widgets. Both read the records the plant already keeps.
What is the difference between Home and the Hub dashboard?
Home is laid out the same for everyone at a site: company news, a live tile for each installed app, and the floor band. The only difference is that a tile for an app you cannot open shows No access. The Dashboard is yours: widgets you choose, arrange and split across pages, kept for you at each site.
What is the Hub in Bulk?
The Hub is the app every Bulk workspace includes. It holds the Dashboard and the shared settings other apps rely on: sites, users and roles, machines, parts, routings and other master data.
Which widgets can I add to the dashboard?
The Dashboard has 33 of its own: 15 metrics, such as the Quality Rate Gauge, Delivery OTD Card and Stock Alerts; 10 charts, such as Production Hourly and Buffer Status; a Users Activity Table; and 7 utilities, including clocks, a calendar, Upcoming Audits and Upcoming Tasks. 20 of them have their own settings. Boards, built in Dashboards & Boards, draw on a separate set of 23.
Do I need IT or code to build a dashboard?
No. Select Edit, add widgets from the Widget Marketplace, drag and resize them, and select Done. Changes save automatically. Editing needs a tablet or desktop screen; on a phone the dashboard shows its widgets in one column.
What does a new user see before setting anything up?
The site’s default layout, which starts as Bulk’s 21-widget starter board. Once they change anything, their own layout is saved and shown instead, and each site keeps its own.
Can a manager share a dashboard layout with the team?
Yes. With the Manage dashboard templates permission, held by the Entity admin and Manager roles, Save Current Page stores a page in the Layout Marketplace for the whole organisation. Anyone can add it with Use Layout, which adds a new page rather than replacing theirs.
Is it a real-time manufacturing dashboard?
The figures come from the plant’s own records. Most Home tiles update as those records change; OEE, first-pass yield and steps completed refresh with each new snapshot and at least every five minutes. Dashboard widgets reload when the jobs, orders, output or quality records behind them change. Around the floor loads the ten latest events when Home opens.
Can people see figures for apps they are not allowed to open?
No. A tile for an app you cannot open shows No access and loads none of its data. A widget you lack permission for says you do not have access, and the rest of the page keeps working.
How do apps get onto Home?
A workspace administrator installs them from Apps, and any app they depend on is installed with them. The Hub and Files come with every workspace. Home shows a tile only for installed apps, and installing an app does not by itself give anyone access to it.
Can we post company news on Home?
Yes. People with the Create company news permission write posts in People. A published post leads Home for the site it was written at, and it can be shared as a link or printed as a one-page A4 sheet for the noticeboard.
