Each template belongs to one record type, which decides the fields and tables it can use. What you lay out on it is yours: a certificate, a traveller, a confirmation or a label.
Production orders
Certificates of conformance and order packs, with a Jobs table of everything on the order and answers from its inspection forms.
Production jobs
Travellers, job sheets and part labels, with the job's routing steps, sign-off boxes and its number as a barcode.
Inbound documents
Order confirmations and receipts for the customer's paperwork, covering every line on it in an Items table.
Inbound items
One label or sheet per line item, sized for the label printer, with its reference as a QR code.
Any document, designed at the size it prints.

Fields as tokens
Type $ in a text box and pick a field: job number, PO, customer, due date or one of your own custom fields. The print fills it from the job.
Tables that follow the record
A Jobs table lists the order's jobs and an Items table the delivery's items, running onto more pages when they need to. A Routing table prints a job's steps.
Sheets and labels
A4 and Letter, or 4 × 6 in, 100 × 50 mm and 50 × 30 mm labels. Barcodes print as QR, Code 128 or Code 39, snapped to an 8px grid.
Published once, printed the same every time.
Publishing checks the layout and locks it. To change a live template you duplicate it, publish the copy and make that the default, so nobody edits the page under a running job.
Checked before it's live
Publish needs at least one widget and every widget inside the margins. The dialog lists anything to fix first.
Changed by copy
Duplicate makes an editable draft. Publish it and Set as Default, and the print flows that use the default switch to the new layout.
From one site to the next
Export JSON at one site and Import JSON at another. It arrives as a draft to check, with a note if anything such as a logo needs setting again.
Printed from the record, never retyped.
Print sits on the order, the job and the inbound document. Choose a published template and the jobs, and each PDF comes back filled from the live record.
From the record you're on
Print lists the published templates for that record type. From an order, pick the jobs to include, then one PDF for all of them or a ZIP of separate sheets.
A thousand at a time
Print labels or travellers for up to 1,000 records from Production or Inbound. Big batches run in the background with progress, and download when ready.
The plant's clock
Times print in the site's timezone, so a traveller printed from another office still shows when the work happened on that floor.

What is document template software?
Software for laying out a document once and filling it from data every time it prints. In Bulk, PDF templates print from production orders, jobs and the customer paperwork that becomes them, so travellers, certificates and labels are never retyped.
Can we make our own certificate of conformance template?
Yes. Create a Production Orders template and lay it out with the order’s fields, a Jobs table of what is on the order, your own wording and a signature line. Add Form Answers to print the answers from an inspection form filled in on the order; people printing it need View filled forms to include the real answers.
Can Bulk replace our barcode label software?
For labels that carry your own records, often yes. Templates print QR Code, Code 128 and Code 39 barcodes from any field, on 4 × 6 in, 100 × 50 mm or 50 × 30 mm label presets or a custom size from 10 to 1,000 mm each way. The PDF prints on whatever printer the station uses.
Which fields can a template print?
The fields of its record type and the records around it, such as the customer, part and process, plus your own custom fields and dates. Dates print the day they were saved, and times print in the template site’s timezone.
Who can print, and do they need to open Settings?
No. People print from the order, job or inbound document they are working on, and only published templates appear there. Bulk exports need permission to view PDF templates, and inbound item exports only include items the person can already see.
