Every 5S walk, pre-use check and safety tour becomes a versioned template, a scheduled run and a scored record — with photo and signature evidence, automatic follow-up, and a PDF you can hand an auditor. The paper checklist, finally accountable.
What is Bulk Audits?
Bulk Audits is the inspection layer of Bulk's manufacturing operations software. Every 5S walk, pre-use check and safety tour becomes a versioned template, a scheduled run and a scored record — with photo and signature evidence captured at the point of inspection. Failures follow up automatically, and any completed audit exports to a PDF you can hand an auditor.
Author once. Run it forever.
A template is built once, frozen into an immutable version, then deployed to assets or areas. Every run scores against the version it was published under — so a report from last March never drifts when the checklist changes today.
Template
Drag ten field types into sections; set scoring, triggers and 5S pillars.
AuthorPublish version
An immutable snapshot. Editing a live template forks a fresh draft.
Author · immutableAssign & schedule
Bind to an asset type as compulsory, or schedule into an area on a recurrence.
DeployExecute
One question per page on a tablet, auto-saving, with photo and signature capture.
RunScore
The behavior policy grades the run — pass/fail, weighted or demerit — and flags critical fails.
RunAct & report
Triggers fire — block, notify, task — and a PDF is ready to export the instant it closes.
RunBound to a machine, or to a place.
Both flavors run on the same execution engine and scoring rules — they differ only in what they're attached to and what a failure is allowed to do.
Pre-use & maintenance, at the machine.
Tied to a specific asset and assigned at a requirement level. A compulsory check that's incomplete stops the asset cold — only a signed supervisor override lets work proceed.
5S, safety & quality walks, on a cadence.
Tied to a physical area rather than a machine, and driven by a recurrence schedule. These feed the 5S dashboards and route follow-up tasks to the area's named owners.
One question at a time, signed at the end.
This is what an operator sees on the floor — a touch-first runner that takes a check one item per page, gates progress until each answer is complete, and computes the result the moment it's submitted. Answer it yourself: how you respond decides what fires.

You decide what passing means.
Every version carries its own grading strategy and threshold. The same set of answers can pass or fail depending on the rules you chose — and one critical question can override all of them.
Pass / Fail
Binary. A single failed item fails the whole audit — no partial credit.
Weighted score
Earned ÷ possible points against a threshold. Items can carry different weights.
Demerit points
Start at 100, subtract points per defect found. Stay above the threshold to pass.
fatal_on_critical Flag any item as a killer question and a fail there forces an overall FAIL — whatever the score says. A 96% audit still fails if the brakes don't work.
Ten field types, dragged into place.
Sections hold items; items are one of ten types, each with its own per-type config — min/max, options, required-photo-on-fail, scoring weight and UI variant. No engineering, just a canvas.
Five pillars, scored over time.
Area-bound 5S walks roll up into a live dashboard — per-pillar averages, a score trend against target, and the failures showing up most often, so the next walk knows where to look.

A failed check stops the line.
When a compulsory pre-use audit is incomplete or failing, the asset is blocked in Production — no quiet exceptions. Proceeding takes a deliberate, signed, time-limited supervisor override that everyone can see afterwards.
Nothing moves without a signature.
A supervisor names a reason code, picks how long the override lasts, and draws their signature. The asset unblocks for that window only — and the request, signature and expiry all land on an immutable trail.

Audits don't sit on a shelf.
Checks gate the floor, failures become real work, and evidence lands in the same places the rest of the platform already lives.
Production
Compulsory pre-use checks block assets; the override flow surfaces right on the blocking card.
Tasks
The create-task trigger writes follow-ups into a chosen project, assigned to the area’s owners.
Assets & master data
Templates assign to asset types and groups; runs reference the exact asset and its type.
People & areas
Areas own departments and owners; owners receive the follow-up tasks a failed walk creates.
Dashboards & KPIs
Audit pass rate and score feed shop-floor boards and the Teamboards stand-up widget.
Reports & files
Evidence and generated PDFs live in storage, served to email recipients via expiring links.
Questions, answered.
What is Bulk Audits?
It turns paper checklists into accountable digital audits: 5S walks, pre-use checks and safety tours run from versioned templates on a schedule, each producing a scored, immutable record with photo and signature evidence.
Can it handle both asset and area audits?
Yes. Asset audits and area audits run on one engine, so pre-use equipment checks and 5S walks are built and run the same way.
What evidence does an audit capture?
Photos and signatures are captured at the point of inspection, alongside who ran which check, against which version, with what answers — no clipboard, no second system, no chasing it down later.
What happens when a check fails?
A failure can block an asset, notify the right people and open a task to the area owner the moment it happens — so nothing slips through automatic follow-up.
Can an audit stop production?
Yes. When a check must, it blocks the line — a failed audit can gate an asset so work does not continue until the issue is resolved.
Can I hand a completed audit to an auditor?
Any completed audit exports to a clean, printable PDF on demand, so the record is audit-ready by default rather than an afterthought.
Retire the clipboard for good.
We'll take one of your real checklists — a 5S walk or a pre-use check — and stand it up as a live template, scheduled and scored, so you can watch a single run leave a trail.
