Every document filed. Every PDF, your design.
Two halves of one module. A Finder-style file system for the paperwork that surrounds the floor — versioned, searchable, permissioned — and a drag-and-drop PDF builder that turns live production and inbound records into branded travellers, job sheets and barcode labels.
What is Bulk Documents & Files?
Bulk Documents & Files is two halves of one module. A Finder-style file system keeps the paperwork around the floor versioned, searchable and permissioned, and a drag-and-drop PDF builder turns live production and inbound records into branded travellers, job sheets and barcode labels — so the documents you print today generate themselves.
A document library that works like Finder.
A folder sidebar, a file pane, a status bar — the model everyone already knows. Folders are organised by module and scoped by tier; files are versioned, thumbnailed and searchable. Click a folder to open it.
Three tiers, two access modes.
Every folder lives in a visibility tier and an access mode. Tier decides how wide it reaches; mode decides whether it's open to all or locked to a named list. System folders — the seeded module set — can't be renamed, moved or deleted.
Three visibility tiers
Global folders span every tenant (super-admin only); tenant folders reach everyone with Files access; entity folders stay on a single site. Files inherit their folder’s tier.
global · tenant · entityPublic or managed
A public folder opens for anyone with Files access. A managed folder stays visible but locked — only the owner and explicitly granted users can open it, with Viewer or Manager rights.
grants inherit to subfoldersVersioned & seeded
Replacing a file keeps the chain — new version, old one retired, linked back. Every tenant and site is seeded with the standard module folders so nothing starts empty.

A visual canvas at the page's real proportions. Drag widgets from the dock, snap them to the grid, bind each one to a record field, brand it with a logo. Auto-save holds the draft; publishing locks it for generation. Click a widget to see its settings.
Draft, publish, iterate safely.
A template can't be published until every widget fits inside the printable area. Once published it's read-only — to change it you duplicate to a fresh draft or archive the old one. One template per type can be the default.
Draft
Created with an auto-generated code. Drag widgets, bind fields, auto-save buffers every change.
Validate
The layout validator blocks publish until all widgets sit inside the margins; overlaps warn.
Publish
Draft becomes published and read-only — now selectable for generation. Mark one default per type.
Iterate
Duplicate to a new editable draft, or archive the old version. Export/Import JSON moves it between sites.
Pick a record. Out comes the PDF.
Generation runs from the template list, from a record, or as a bulk job in Production and Inbound. Choose the source record, the engine fills the template with its live data and renders the PDF — opened for download and logged in history, every time.
Select the record
A searchable picker whose label follows the type — Order, Job, Inbound Document or Item — with rich descriptions to find the right one.
Fill & render
The engine pulls the record's data, builds the page from the template and renders a PDF through the worker service — order and document templates fan out to all child jobs and items.
Open & log
The finished PDF opens in a new tab for download. Every generation is recorded — source record, output, size and duration — in generation history.
Bulk dialogs in Production and Inbound render many records at once — a single merged PDF or a zip of individual files — against the same templates and the same pipeline.
Files everywhere, PDFs on demand.
The file system and template engine reach into the records the rest of the platform creates — attaching, branding and printing without leaving the floor's flow.
Production
Templates render order, job and item travellers and labels; routing tables print a job's steps.
Inbound
Goods-receipt and inspection documents, labels, and bulk merged or zipped output for a delivery.
Custom fields
A file-type field opens the attach-a-file browser — pick, search or upload straight onto a record.
Branding
A logo gallery feeds the Logo widget so every generated document carries the customer's mark.
Settings
Custom-field tokens, page presets, grid and margins — the builder lives under Settings.
Storage & billing
Usage shows in the status bar and is enforced against the plan limit on every upload and attach.

Questions, answered.
What is Bulk Documents & Files?
It is two halves of one module: a Finder-style file system for the paperwork around the floor — versioned, searchable and permissioned — and a drag-and-drop PDF builder that turns live records into branded travellers, job sheets and barcode labels.
Do I need separate tools for file storage and PDF generation?
No. The file system and the template builder are one module, so the documents you store and the PDFs you generate live in the same place.
What can the PDF builder produce?
You compose templates from 12 widgets — text, logo, fields, tables, barcode/QR and signature — snapped to a 20px grid, then generate travellers, job sheets and barcode or QR labels from your data.
Which records can a PDF pull from?
Four record types feed the builder: production orders and jobs, and inbound documents and items. You can generate single or bulk, merged into one file or zipped.
How are files organized and controlled?
The file system is Finder-style with tiered folders, managed ACLs, drag-drop and drop-to-upload, full-text search and PDF thumbnails — and every file is versioned.
What file types and sizes can I upload?
PDF, Office and image formats, up to 25 MB per file, with the quota enforced on every upload, replace and attach.
Bring one document, leave with a template.
Hand us a traveller, a label or an order confirmation you print today — we'll rebuild it in the canvas and wire it to your live records, so the next one generates itself.
