What is Bulk Training & Competency?

Bulk Training & Competency is the skills layer of Bulk's manufacturing operations software. It keeps one live record per person and program — skill level, dates, evidence and status on a single row. Sign off once and the matrix, record and catalogue update together, with certificates and an audit history attached.

Three connected views

One sign-off. Three useful views.

The matrix shows plant coverage, records hold the person-level proof, and the catalogue defines every program. They all read the same live assignment.

Straight answers

Questions, answered.

01

What is Bulk Training & Competency?

It tracks who is competent at what across the plant: one live record per employee and program holding skill level, dates, evidence and status, shown as a live versatility matrix.

02

How does the competency scale work?

Five levels form the shared spine — Not Trained, In Training, Supervised, Competent and Trainer — and the same language runs across the matrix, records and reports. People count as competent from level three.

03

What happens when a certification is about to expire?

Validity months compute each expiry, and thirty days out the record flags itself and offers a one-click renewal — so you find the gap before audit day, not on it.

04

Is the record ready for an audit?

Yes. An immutable event log captures who changed what, when and why, and certificates are kept through every renewal, so evidence is attached and ready when an auditor asks.

05

Do I have to update the matrix, record and catalogue separately?

No. Skill level, dates, evidence and status all live on a single row — you sign off once and all three views update together.

06

What does one live record actually contain?

Each employee-program record holds the skill level, the relevant dates, the attached evidence and the current status on one row, so the whole picture sits in a single place.

Stop finding the gap on audit day.

We'll build your matrix with one real cohort — programs, validity windows and people — so you can see, live, who's competent at what and what's about to lapse.
