Prepare a manufacturing invoice in GBP or USD. Keep order, delivery and original-line references together.

What it's for
UK invoice in GBP. Keep order, delivery and original-line references together.
What you can download
Available files: UK PDF, UK Excel, US PDF, US Excel. Each PDF includes the blank form first, a fictional completed example and instructions. The Excel workbook includes an unused template and a separate completed example, with labelled inputs, calculation cells and print settings. Choose the UK or US version in the download form. The download is free; enter your email to receive a secure link valid for seven days. Product-news consent is optional.
Completed manufacturing example
The invoice examples retain customer order, delivery and line references alongside quantities, unit prices, discounts and regional tax fields. UK files use GBP and VAT fields; US files use USD with tax rates and jurisdiction details entered by the user.
Round each line’s net amount to two decimals, then calculate and round its tax. Sum the rounded lines. The UK and US files remain on this one page; choose the region and either PDF or Excel before requesting the download.
When to use this template
Based on HMRC VATREC5010 and Keeping VAT records. This ordinary domestic GBP form does not cover every special VAT scheme or cross-border supply.

How to use it
- Choose UK (GBP) or US (USD), then PDF or Excel. Replace every fictional name, identifier and date.
- Use a unique sequential reference and record supplier, customer, issue date, supply date, order and delivery references.
- Net per line = round(quantity × unit price × (1 − discount), 2). Tax per line = round(net × entered rate, 2). Sum the rounded lines; do not recalculate tax on an unrounded aggregate.
- For a UK VAT invoice include the seller VAT number, unit prices, quantities, descriptions, VAT rate and net value for each supply, total net and total VAT in sterling. Document applicable discount and special VAT treatment.
