What it's for
Keep instrument status, interval rationale and out-of-tolerance follow-up visible.
What you can download
Available files: PDF, Excel. Each PDF includes the blank form first, a fictional completed example and instructions. The Excel workbook includes an unused template and a separate completed example, with labelled inputs, calculation cells and print settings. The download is free; enter your email to receive a secure link valid for seven days. Product-news consent is optional.
Completed manufacturing example
Gauge G-12 was calibrated on 1 June with an approved 180-day interval, giving 28 November as its next due date. Micrometer M-04 is marked withdrawn and has an action to review measurements since its last valid check.
Withdrawn status takes precedence over the date. Choose intervals from use, environment, history and requirements. Keep the schedule linked to the calibration record, certificate and any affected-product investigation.
When to use this template
A schedule supports control of measuring equipment; the calibration method and acceptance criteria need competent approval.

How to use it
- Enter the interval rationale explicitly. This sheet does not recommend a universal annual interval.
- Next due date = last completed date + agreed days. Compare against the stated as-of date; withdrawn status takes precedence.
- When a result is out of tolerance, assess affected measurements and retain the certificate, disposition and release evidence.
Key features
- Instrument schedule
- Interval and exception review
Ideal for
- Quality and metrology owners maintaining an instrument register
Common uses
- Planning instrument calibration and tracking withdrawn equipment
