Make the sequence, key points and timing visible at the operation.

What it's for
Make the sequence, key points and timing visible at the operation.
What you can download
Available files: PDF. Each PDF includes the blank form first, a fictional completed example and instructions. The download is free; enter your email to receive a secure link valid for seven days. Product-news consent is optional.
Completed manufacturing example
The example loads a part from 0–12 seconds, runs the machine from 12–36, prepares and walks for the next part during that cycle, then unloads from 36–40. Elapsed cycle time is 40 seconds against a 42-second takt.
Manual and automatic work overlap for 16 seconds. Read the shared time axis instead of summing all bar lengths. Keep the important step, key point and reason beside the standard WIP and abnormal-response instructions.
When to use this template
This pack does not replace the machine manual, risk assessment or approved safe-work procedure.

How to use it
- Observe the job and agree important steps, key points and reasons with the operator.
- Keep the job breakdown separate from the timing view. Show simultaneous activity on the same elapsed-time axis.
- Record standard WIP and abnormal response. Confirm safe work, quality checks and realistic timing before release.
Key features
- Job breakdown
- Work in process and abnormal response
- Timed combination
- Combination timeline
- Cycle versus takt
Ideal for
- Operators and manufacturing engineers releasing reviewed standard work
Common uses
- Defining an observed work sequence with a job breakdown and combination timeline
